Schedule

The team meets monthly during the off-season on the 2nd Monday of each month, 7:30PM at New Visions, 334 Krumkill Rd, Slingerlands. Committee meetings begin at 6PM and the team meeting opens with committee reports. All breast cancer survivors - male and female - are welcome and invited to join us at any of our off-season monthly meetings.

The team, through the tireless efforts and generousity of family and friends of the founding members, was able to raise sufficient funds to purchase our first boat. It arrived May 18th. Victor Gush, owner of the Van Schaick Island Marina on the Hudson River in Cohoes, generously offered the team a home for the boat for the summer 2009 season.

The 2009 practice season began Monday, May 18th and ended September 17th. Practices were held from 6-8 Monday and Thursday evenings at the Van Schaick Island Marina in Cohoes.

The team has already begun fund raising so that we can join breast cancer survivors from around the world at the 2010 International Dragon Boat Festival in Peterbourough, Canada June 11-13.
