- Hope in the Boat will participate in the Alplaus Ladies Auxiliary
Paddling for the Cure. Watch for us and our boat, decked out with head and tail, as we
join the paddle fest on the Mohawk River.

- We participated in the International Dragon Boat Festival for
Breast Cancer Survivors in Peterborough, Ontario with over 70 other teams
from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Italy and the United States.
- May 18
- Hope in the Boat tabled at the NYSDOH Dept. of Labor EAP Wellness Fair,
sharing educational information with state employees on the Harriman Campus.
- May 15
- Pots and Plots fund raiser featuring Cooperative Extension master gardeners held at
Calendar's Nursery in Chatham.
- May 11
- Hope in the Boat was an exhibitor at the Women's Health Expo at the New York
Empire State Plaza.
- May 10
- 2010 season began with a traditional eye-dotting or awakening the dragon and flower
ceremony.

- Hope in the Boat members tabled at the networking/informational session
at 'A Lifetime of Healthy Breasts', part of the Healthy Life Seminar Series presented by
Albany Medical Center.

- Hope in the Boat participated in the Great Northeast Outdoor Show.

- Lunafest - film festival by, for, and about women
Hope in the Boat was invited for a 2nd year to partner with LunaChix in this fund raiser
for The Breast Cancer Fund which is dedicated to eliminating the environmental causes of breast cancer.

- Siena Pink Zone Game. Although a fund raiser for
CRAAB!, Hope in the Boat was a proud participant in the evening's activities as
3 of our members were among the breast cancer survivor honorees.
